About this Course

Work at Height for Assessors course is to provide the participants with the requisite work at height knowledge to assess work at height activities so that work is carried out properly and safely. It is a requirement that participants must have completed and passed the WAH supervisor course.

At the end of the course, the participants shall be able to:

  • Identify, explain and apply the relevant Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) Legislations / Approved Code of Practice / Singapore Standards applicable to Work-at-Heights (WAH).
  • Identify and explain the roles & responsibilities of a WAH Assessor.
  • Identify hazards, evaluate the risk, and implement control measures for WAH activities.
  • Evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of Fall Prevention Plan.
  • Evaluate whether the control measures implemented on site for PTW are adequate and effective.

Who should attend this Course?

This MOM accredited Work at height for Assessors course is mainly for WSH Officers, WSH Coordinators, Project Managers and Project Engineers.

Course Content: 

At the end of the course, the participants shall be able to:

  • Identify and explain the roles & responsibilities of a WAH Assessor
  • Identify hazards, evaluate the risk, and implement control measures for WAH activities
  • Evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of the Fall Prevention Plan
  • Evaluate whether the control measures implemented on site for PTW are adequate and effect

Course Duration : 8.5 hours (Theory 6.5 hours + Assessment 2 hours)

Certification : 

Upon successful completion of the course and passing the examination, a certificate of successful completion endorsed by Greensafe International Pte Ltd will be issued to the participants

Pre-requisites: 

“Attended and passed the MOM WAH course for Supervisors, or equivalent(eg: BCSS, SSSC, etc)”

Assumed Skills and Knowledge:

  • Employability Skills System (ESS) Workplace Literacy and Numeracy (WPLN) Level 5 and above, or equivalent
  • Ability to carry out hazards identification, risk assessment, and risk control measures.
