About this Course
Access is all about “Database Management” – a dreaded phrase to many, although it simply means organising the masses of data into a coherent structure when seen in context. This is where Access excels, assisted along the way by its Query feature, which allows one to derive just about any answer from the data.
Objectives
Upon completion of this workshop, participants will be able to;
- This course is picks up the thread from the fundamentals course
- Participants will learn how to structure queries to derive intelligent answers from the data storehouse, filter their queries, structure reports and link data to other applications
- Participants will also be given an introduction to macros and creating applications in Access

Methodologies
Participants must be familiar with Access before attending this course. Ideally, participants will have attended the Core course before coming here, or will be familiar with creating table structures, simple queries, basic forms and reports.
A combination of lectures, explicit teaching, practical demonstrations and peer teaching is applied for this course.
