About this Course

This module aims to equip learners with the necessary knowledge on acts and legislations that govern the termination and dismissal of employees in Singapore. The systematic process of administering the proper execution and documentation of termination, dismissal and resignation procedures will also be covered. Not only will this module expound on the steps to ensure a smooth closure to resignations, it highlights the methods to gathering feedback to decrease employee turnover and improve the company’s overall working environment.

This course is ideal for F&B managerial personnel involved in handling terminations, dismissals and resignations, such as:

Course Objectives

Through our experiential classroom training, learners will learn how to:

  • Terminate employees
  • Dismiss employees
  • Process resignations

Assessment

At the end of the module, learners are required to complete a total of 1 hour and 30 minutes of summative assessment, comprising a written assignment, role play, interview for written assignment, and oral questioning. Upon successful completion of assessment, they will be awarded a Statement of Attainment (SOA).

Upon successful completion of assessment for the rest of the modules under the WSQ Diploma in Food and Beverage Management, they will be awarded a WSQ Diploma in Food and Beverage Management.

Entry Requirement
