About this Course

FS Manager is a free online tool provided by ACRA as part of BizFile to help companies prepare and manage financial statements in XBRL format. Using FS Manager, authorised users can prepare company’s financials by completing a series of webbased forms. The web-based forms are designed in accordance with ACRA taxonomy requirement The course will also cover latest changes and refinements to FS Manager made necessary by the revised version of Financial Reporting Standard 1 [Revised FRS 1] announced by the Accounting Standards Council on 28 March 2008. [Revised FRS 1] applies to all annual periods beginning on or after 1 January 2009. In addition, there will be some changes made to the ACRA Taxonomy and FS Manager by 7 March 2010, with the main objective of enhancing the quality of XBRL financial statements.
