1. Identify critical and relevant networks and relationships
- Identify a range of networks which may provide strategic value to the organisation or the individual
- Assess and review the constraints that may affect participation in networks
- Prioritise participation in networks which provide clear strategic benefits to the organisation or individual
2. Build workplace networks and relationships
- Establish working relationships with network members to improve knowledge sharing and networking opportunities
- Provide and receive information that will benefit the organisation and its image
- Actively pursue collaborative opportunities that will support mutually beneficial outcomes
3. Support stakeholder participation in external networks
- Support network members to identify and participate in relevant professional networks
- Identify communication channels to support engagement of network members
- Facilitate information exchange/sharing between network members to enable effective engagement
